The 艾达项目 Office assists in providing individual support services to encourage full participation for employees with disabilities.

The 艾达项目 Office is responsible for ensuring campus-wide compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (艾达), Amendment Act of 2008 (艾达AA), and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 因此, 直接回应教员, 工作人员, and public requests for reasonable accommodations, and indirectly to student requests. Students requesting reasonable accommodations are referred to Student 可访问性 Resources (SAR). Our office works collaboratively with SAR to assist with student needs that SAR is unable to meet and serves as a clearinghouse for all reasonable accommodation requests involving physical access.
The 艾达项目 Office works collaboratively with other university entities as well as external community organizations to help meet the university’s 艾达 mission and goals. They also provide leadership in promoting inclusiveness, 残疾的意识, and education in the local community. 从这个角度来看, the 艾达项目 Office monitors our campus for 艾达 compliance, consults and advises 教师, 学生, and 工作人员 on disability related issues, and provides training and awareness opportunities for the campus community.

The 艾达 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating reasonable accommodation request(s) for applicants, 教师, 工作人员, and student employees with disabilities. These guidelines are designed to inform members of the campus community and the general public regarding accommodations in employment or in the application process. Individuals needing accommodations should visit the 员工 Accommodation Procedure and follow the Reasonable Accommodation Process described there.
